Luis Posada Carriles the CIA agent and man responsible for the bombing of a Cuban airliner flying from Barbados to Cuba killing 73 people was smuggled across the border into the US in 2005 and lives in a villa in Miama, the US courts refusing to extradite him to face trial.

The case had been a constant embarrasment to the Bush regime, and has now become one for Obama. On February this year he was due to face a hearing in Texas about his illegal entry to the country, but powerful friends amongst Cuban exiles seem to have got the hearing indefinately postponed.

Special Branch and Terrorism
Didn’t Bush say something alongs the lines of those who support terrorists are.
In this BBC report, the police ombudsman confirmed, Special Branch, the intelligence service wing of the police (a sort of FBI), aided one cell of the Northern Irish terrorist group the UVF to conduct its campaign.

Additional criminality, including criminal damage, extortion and intimidation.
And of course this is only the tip of the iceberg.
Already a government spokeman has said it’s unlikely any of the officers involved will face prosecution.
